RNA in situ hybridization in embryos at E9.5 (A,B,I-L,O,P), E10.5, (C,D), E8.5 (E,F) and E9.0 (G,H,M,N). The plane of the sections in (C,D) is as in Fig. 2(C) (see MGI:5486325), and the sections in (E-P) have been cut as shown in Fig. 1(A) (see MGI:5486323). Arrows in (E-H) and (M,N) point to the area where otic epithelium loses the close contact with the neural tube coinciding with gene expression borders. Scale bar is 50 um.
