(A) RT-PCR analysis. (B) Western blot analysis. Thirty oocytes were loaded for each lane. . GV, germinal vesicle oocytes; GVBD, germinal vesicle breakdown oocytes; MI, metaphase I oocytes; +3, +5 and +9 h represent hours after the GVBD monitored visually at the microscope. (C) Immunofluorescence analysis. GV oocytes were cultured in vitro in the absence of cAMP sources to allow meiotic maturation. GVBD occurred after 2 h, later times correspond to hours after GVBD. MI oocytes are at metaphase I. (p-r) Control immunofluorescence with preimmune IgGs. Bar size is 50 um.
