Body weight and appearance of wild-type and Slc6a19^tm1Dgen/Slc6a19^tm1Dgen mice. Appearance of male (54 days old) (A) and female (79 days old) (C) wild-type (-/-) and Slc6a19^tm1Dgen/Slc6a19^tm1Dgen (-/-) mice is shown. The body weight of male (B) and female (D) mice from mixed wild-type (-/-), heterozygous (-/+) and nullizygous (-/-) litters was measured over a period of 84 days. Genotypes were determined after weaning on day 22. Before day 22 the average body weight of all three genotypes is depicted.
