Expression in urethral epithelium. Phallic urethra (left) expression in urethral epithelium. Of the epithelial ducts seen far right, expression is seen in the degenerating paramesonephric duct (top), the epithelium below it shows no expression (this may be the ureter epithelium) and strong expression is seen in the lower duct epithelium closest to the urethra (nephric duct or presumptive ejaculatory duct).
