Caption Image(s) contributed directly to GXD by the GUDMAP database. Zoom capability for the image(s) can be accessed via the GUDMAP link at the bottom of this page. GUDMAP provided the following information: 2796_140909_23_1.jpg - LUT - low magnification image. Genital tubercle (centre left) sectioned through the phallic urethra/urethral epithelium with adjacent labioscrotal swelling and bladder (top centre). Strong, specific expression in epithelial skin surface layer of embryo and surface epithelium of external genitalia and also in epithelium of phallic urethra (urethral plate)/urethral epithelium. All weaker signal detected may be background; 2796_140909_23_2.jpg - Bladder - low magnification image; 2796_140909_23_3.jpg - Bladder - high magnification image - uncertain if the expression seen in the bladder is real or background; 2796_140909_23_4.jpg - LUT - low magnification image. Bladder (top centre) and pelvic urethra (below). Strong, specific expression in epithelial surface layer of embryo. All weaker signal detected may be background; 2796_140909_23_5.jpg - Bladder - low magnification image; 2796_140909_23_6.jpg - Bladder- high magnification image; 2796_140909_23_7.jpg - LUT - overview image.
