Caption Histology of the testis. 5-um sections of testis from a wild-type male (A) and Clcn2tm1Mlv/Clcn2tm1Mlv male (B) obtained 10 weeks after birth. The normal testicular architecture found in the wild-type male is compromised in the mutant mouse, with missing germ cell layers (double-headed arrow in the wild-type), abnormal Sertoli cells (small arrows) and a relative hyperplasia of the Leydig cells (large arrows).
