Cryosections were double labeled with anti-MCM6 (A,D,G,J,M,P) and anti-PCNA (B,E,H,K,N,Q). Merged images (C,F,I,L,O,R) are shown in the right column. The non-nuclear staining in Q and R is due to secondary antibody cross-reactivity with endothelial cells and the staining at the outer retinal edge in P-R is due to autofluorescence of the photoreceptor outer segments. Scale bars 50 microns.
