Hematoxylin and eosin stained heart sections of E9.75 wild type and Mapk7^tm1Jsca/Mapk7^tm1Jsca embryos show normal patterning of the heart in the mutant embryos, with both atrial (At) and ventricle (V) chambers. The thickness of the atrial wall (arrow) in the mutant embryos is thinner than in wild type hearts.
