(d-f) Serial transversal sections of E13.5 wild-type embryos at the forelimb level stained with anti-RECK (d), anti-MyoD (e), or anti-MRF4 (f) antibodies. Note that RECK and MRF4 are coexpressed near both termini of myofibrils (red arrowheads in d and f) and in myofibrils facing cartilage (blue arrows in d and f), while MyoD is relatively abundant in the central region of myofibrils (red bracket in e). (g) Myofibrils in a section of E14.5 wild-type embryo stained with anti-RECK antibodies. Strong RECK signals surrounding individual myofibrils can be seen at this stage.
