Yellow signals in the merged view indicate the colocalization of ASIP with each junction marker protein. The three-dimensional merged view of ASIP and ZO-1 staining was constructed to show the mesh-like or ring-like appearance of adherens junctions (J). Inserts show close ups of the apical surface (10 microns in width). LV, lateral ventricle; VZ, ventricular zone. Scale bar = 20 microns in I (applies to A-J).
