Caption

Sections are 0.7 microns thick. They were counterstained with phalloidin. Unfilled block arrows donote regions of the duct where staining overlapped with F-actin. Small arrows indicate cell-cell interfaces where the staining did not overlap much with that of F-actin. Large arrows indicate cell-cell interfaces wehre the staining did overlap with that of F-actin. The filled block arrow in a' points to a stress fiber.
