Caption | Serial sections were taken from caudal hindbrain (A,B), brachial (upper panels in E-H,M-P,U,V) and thoracic (C,D, lower panels in I-L,Q-T,W,X) levels of spinal cord. In C, an arrow indicates the notochord. In U and W the solid line marks the boundary of the grey matter and the dotted line marks the boundary of dorsal most expression of Crim1 in the dorsal horn. In M and Q arrowheads indicate the position of the Crim1 dorsal cell group, open arrowheads indicate the LMC and arrows indicate the MMC. The spatial relationships of Crim1 (green), Islet-1 (red) and Chx-10 (blue) expression is demonstrated in the digitally superimposed images from 11.5 d.p.c. (H,L) and 13.5 d.p.c. (P,T). All scale bars are 100 microns. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
