Caption

E and F are higher magnifiactions of the boxed regions in C and D. The arrow in H indicates a region the has no expression. This may indicate a lack of mesenchymal tissue. I and J are higher magnification of the boxed regions of G and H respectively. The arrowheads in I indicate expression in the mesenchyme between the epithelial buds. No comparable expression is seen in mutant lungs.
