The various motor nuclei are labeled in E: III, occulomotor; IV, trochlear; V, trigeminal; VII, facial and superior salivatory; IX, glossopharyngeal; X, vagus; XI, cranial accessory; XII, hypoglossal. The Vth nucleus is not apparent as it coincides with the facial nucleus of rhombomere 5. Arrowhead in A= superior salivary nucleus in r5 containing VM VIIth nerve. Scale bar= 1mm.
