In MGI, a value or attribute that is not stored in the MGI database. For example, a sequence provider lists the strain attribute as "wild-caught in Tamil Nadu, South India. " A database query on this attribute would fail because wild-caught strain is not in a standard MGI controlled vocabulary. See also Resolved Value. |
