Glossary Term Assembly Sequence
Definition The sequence defined by an interval along a chromosome in the mouse genome assembly. In MGI, assembly sequences are defined as the interval between the start position of the first exon and the end position of the last exon of a gene as annotated by the NCBI or Ensembl gene models.
