Assay type: Immunohistochemistry
MGI Accession ID: MGI:7259913
Gene symbol: Robo3
Gene name: roundabout guidance receptor 3
Results
Specimen 2K: embryonic day 16.5 (more )
Note: Double labeled: purple - Robo3; green/white - Th (assay MGI:7259909).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS24: fasciculus retroflexus Present Regionally restricted 2K Expressed in the medial habenular axons of the fasciculus retroflexus.

Specimen 2L: embryonic day 16.5; Gli2tm1Alj/Gli2tm1Alj (more )
Note: Double labeled: purple - Robo3; green/white - Th (assay MGI:7259909).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS24: fasciculus retroflexus Present Regionally restricted 2L The medial habenular axons of the fasciculus retroflexus striking misdirection toward rostral domains were seen; no single axon was detected toward their caudal target. The misrouted tract seemed related to an enlarged A13 dopaminergic population located in the prethalamic territory.

Specimen 2M: embryonic day 16.5 (more )
Note: Double labeled: purple - Robo3; green/white - Th (assay MGI:7259909).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS24: fasciculus retroflexus Present Regionally restricted 2M Expressed in the medial habenular axons of the fasciculus retroflexus in the pial surface.

Specimen 2N: embryonic day 16.5; Gli2tm1Alj/Gli2tm1Alj (more )
Note: Double labeled: purple - Robo3; green/white - Th (assay MGI:7259909).
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS24: fasciculus retroflexus Present Regionally restricted 2N The medial habenular axons of the fasciculus retroflexus was misoriented and crosses the midline in an abnormal position, far away from the superficial side of the midbrain.
