Notes:
(a) The RT-PCR reaction generated bands at 316 & 259 bp because the gene generates alternate transcripts. Authors did not clearly specify which transcript was present in each tissue. The short isoform is present at low levels in most tissues.
(b) Both isoforms are present at comparable levels in this tissue.
(c) Transcript levels in this tissue were as much as 100 times greater than that seen in some other tissues.
