• mice show no differences in the percentage of preference for object in the novel object recognition task indicating that attention and/or learning and memory are unimpaired and no differences in the percentage of entries and the time spent in the open arms in the elevated plus-maze, falling frequency in the rotarod test, or in the percentage of spontaneous alternation in the Y-maze test
• in the delay discounting task, mice have decreased preference for the large reinforcer and increased number of non-reinforced responses indicating that mice are impulsive
• mice treated with the ADHD drug atomoxetine show increased percentage of choice for the large reinforcer, ameliorating the impulsive behavior
• mice are hyperactive, showing increased distance moved and movement duration in the open-field test and mice have higher locomotor activity particularly on days 3, 5, and 7
• mice treated with the ADHD drug atomoxetine show decreased locomotor activity, ameliorating the hyperactive behavior
