• however, both males and females at 12 and 22 weeks of age remain insulin sensitive in the intraperitoneal insulin tolerance test and fasted insulin levels are normal at 14 and 24 weeks of age, and no change in fasted blood glucose levels are seen independent of diet and age indicating an absence of diabetic phenotype
