• mice are viable and appear normal with no obvious abnormalities in development or behavior relative to wild-type controls
• both male and female mice are fertile; males exhibit normal testis size and weight with no detectable defects in spermatogenesis, meiotic progression, sperm count, morphology or motility, and no significant alterations in Sertoli cell and Leydig cell morphology or function
