• mice infected with the CR6 strain of murine norovirus show higher CR6 shedding in the stool at day 7 postinfection (dpi) than wild-type mice, and have higher numbers of CR6 genome copies in the colon, indicating a failure to control persistent norovirus replication
|

• mice inoculated perorally with reovirus strain type 1 Lang (T1L) , show elevated levels of reovirus titers in the stool, indicating increased levels of virus shedding, and increased viral loads in jejunal and ileal tissues compared to wild-type mice
|
|
• mice inoculated intranasally with mouse-adapted influenza A virus PR8 show more weight loss than wild-type mice and elevated levels of lung PR8 viral loads at 3 dpi, however they recover from weigh loss by day 14 as in wild-type mice
