• decrease in TCRalphabeta and TCRgammadelta lineage intestinal intraepithelial T cells
• reduced unstimulated CD8+ T cell survival in vitro
• severely reduced anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 stimulated survival of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in vitro
• normal Il7-stimulated survival of T cells in vitro
• altered expression of CD44 and CD62L in CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells in spleen
