homeostasis/metabolism
• six and fifteen hours following injection of ConA, serum interferon gamma levels are elevated as compared to controls
• six and fifteen hours following injection of ConA, serum alanine amino transferase levels are elevated as compared to controls
• 100% of mice die 10 hours after exposure to a high dose of ConA, in contrast, no fatalities (post-48 hours) are observed in controls

immune system
• six and fifteen hours following injection of ConA, serum interferon gamma levels are elevated as compared to controls
• production of interferon gamma is increased in splenocytes in response to ConA stimulation, however, production of other cytokines is not altered

liver/biliary system
• mice exhibit necroinflammatory liver injury 14 hours after ConA exposure; controls do not exhibit liver damage

mortality/aging
• 100% of mice die 10 hours after exposure to a high dose of ConA, in contrast, no fatalities (post-48 hours) are observed in controls

cellular
• mice exhibit necroinflammatory liver injury 14 hours after ConA exposure; controls do not exhibit liver damage
