• mice exhibit 1-alkenyl-2-hydroxy-glycero-3-phospho(N-acyl)ethanolamines (lyso pNAPEs) in the brain compared with wild-type mice

• brain levels of alkenyl-type lysophosphatidic acids are increased compared to in wild-type mice

• however, mice exhibit normal release of N-palmitoylethanol-amine from N-palmitoylethanolamine plasmalogen
