Cygbtm1Nka mutation (0 available); any Cygb mutation (17 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
neoplasm
• treatment with 25 ppm DEN in the drinking water induced lung and liver tumors in all mice by 25 weeks post treatment, compared to only about 44% of similarly treated wild-type mice
• treatment with a lower dose of DEN (0.05 ppm), which does not induce tumors in wild-type mice, induces liver or lung tumors in over 40% of mice
• increase in the number of proliferating cells in DEN induced liver tumors
• DEN treated mice develop larger tumors compared to similarly treated wild-type controls

homeostasis/metabolism
• increase in the severity of N,N-diethylnitrosamine (DEN, 25 ppm) induced liver fibrosis
• treatment with 25 ppm DEN in the drinking water induced lung and liver tumors in all mice by 25 weeks post treatment, compared to only about 44% of similarly treated wild-type mice
• treatment with a lower dose of DEN (0.05 ppm), which does not induce tumors in wild-type mice, induces liver or lung tumors in over 40% of mice

liver/biliary system
• accumulation of nitrotyrosine in livers from DEN treated mice
