nervous system
• pyramidal neurons exhibit an increased in the average amplitude of miniature excitatory postsynaptic currents (EPSCs) compared with wild-type neurons
• treatment with TTX or bicuculline does not alter mEPSC amplitudes unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• following maximal electroconvulsive seizure, mice fail to exhibit a decrease in mEPSC amplitudes unlike wild-type mice
• application of Bay and MPEP does not increase mEPSC amplitude unlike in wild-type mice

homeostasis/metabolism
• treatment with TTX or bicuculline does not alter mEPSC amplitudes unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• application of Bay and MPEP does not increase mEPSC amplitude unlike in wild-type mice
