growth/size/body
• grows more slowly and are still stunted at 1 year of age
• at 45 to 62 weeks of age showed a more eccentric lobular orientation

homeostasis/metabolism
• significantly increased proliferation of hepatocytes in both young and older mice

reproductive system
• decreased numbers of tail structures within tubular lumina and an absence of normal spermatozoa in the epididymis

liver/biliary system
• bile staining of Kupffer cells
• in older mice,45-62 weeks old, degenerating hepatocytes are greatly enlarged, pale, and rounded
• at 45 to 62 weeks of age showed a more eccentric lobular orientation
• occasional periportal infiltrates of lymphocytes with smaller numbers of histiocytes and granulocytes
• diffuse, moderate to prominent, enlargement of centrilobular hepatocytes at 20 weeks of age
• an increased amounts of coarsely variegated cytoplasm with clumps and stripes of basophilic material juxtaposed with areas of pale vacuolated or typical eosinophilic cytoplasm
• Oval cell proliferation is more prominent in older mice

immune system
• bile staining of Kupffer cells
• occasional periportal infiltrates of lymphocytes with smaller numbers of histiocytes and granulocytes

cardiovascular system
• bile staining of Kupffer cells

hematopoietic system
• bile staining of Kupffer cells
