• Western blot analysis of acidic extracts from mutant mESCs revealed strikingly elevated H2B monoubiquitination (H2Bub) global levels relative to wild-type mESCs
• after 10 min of treatment with actinomycin D (an inhibitor of transcription elongation), H2Bub is almost undetectable in wild-type mESCs, whereas H2Bub global levels remain unaltered in mutant mESCs at all analyzed time points
