behavior/neurological
N
• adult mice show normal placing behavior in a visual placing response test, and exhibit no changes in the time spent in the central area of the open field suggesting normal anxiety levels
• in the open field test, adult male mice show a slight but significant increase in total distance traveled and in distance traveled per minute along with a significant reduction in the % of resting time, suggesting increased spontaneous locomotor activity
• walking speed remains unaffected

growth/size/body
N
• male mice show normal developmental weight gain and no differences in body weight at 10 weeks of age relative to age-matched wild-type controls

nervous system
N
• adult brain anatomy is grossly normal with no detectable changes in hippocampus and cerebral cortex histology
• Real-time PCR analysis showed normal expression levels of 18S rRNA in the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and cerebellum

vision/eye
N
• adult mice exhibit normal visual function in a visual placing response test
