neoplasm
• tamoxifen-treated mice subjected to azoxymethane-dextran sodium sulfate (AOM-DSS) show no differences in colon tumor numbers or burden but show smaller tumors after the second DSS cycle

hematopoietic system
• tamoxifen-treated mice show decreased Vgamma6+ and Vgamma4+ gamma-delta T cell populations
• however, tamoxifen-treated mice do not show changes in CD8alpha-alpha-expressing gamma-delta T cells
• mice treated with tamoxifen at late stages show reduced frequency of PD-1+ and IL-17-producing tumor-infiltrating gamma-delta T cells
• tamoxifen-treated and AOM-DSS subjected mice show a 55% reduction in tumor-infiltrating Rorgammat+ gamma-delta T cells
• however, no difference in Rorgammat expression or IL-17 production among CD4+ T cells
• tamoxifen-treated and AOM-DSS subjected mice show a decrease in tumor-infiltrating CD11b+Gr-1int cells (inflammatory monocytes)
• tumor-infiltrating CD8alpha-beta+ T cells from tamoxifen-treated and AOM-DSS subjected mice show increased IFN-gamma production
