• despite reduced B cell numbers, class switching and B cell proliferation following stimulation are normal following immunization
• following immunization, the number of IgG2a- and IgG3-secreting cells is decreased compared to in wild-type mice
• 8 days following immunization, PNA+ germinal center number and size are reduced compared to in wild-type or heterozygous mice
• however, stimulated germinal B cell proliferation is normal
• at day 4 following immunization, the number of germinal cell B cells in the spleen is reduced and remains 7- to 4-fold lower at day 8 and 12 compared to in wild-type and heterozygous mice

• following immunization, the number of IgG2a- and IgG3-secreting cells is decreased compared to in wild-type mice
