• M+6 isotopomer-specific blood glucose levels are 40% lower following infusion of 13C corn alpha-limit-dextran compared to wild-type controls
• decrease in starch digestion as measured by 13CO2 concentrations in the breath following 13C corn alpha-limit-dextran bolus feeding
• alpha-glucosidase activity is reduced 50% in the jejunum compared to in wild-type mice (J:136590)
• in the jejunum, maltase, maltodextrinase and amylase activities are reduced while sucrase and lactase activity are increased compared to in wild-type mice (J:136590)
