mortality/aging
• when treated with the a 0.1 mg/kg dose of echothiophate (the LD50 dose for wild-type mice), no F5 generation transgenic mice die compared to 3/8 wild-type animals, indicating that transgene expression confers protection from organophosphate toxicity

behavior/neurological
• F5 generation mice show only slight tremors, compared to wild-type mice that show severe signs of toxicity like whole body tremor when treated with 0.1 mg/kg echothiophate

homeostasis/metabolism
N
• transgenic mice show similar murine Bche activity to wild-type, indicating that expression of the human enzyme does not affect endogenous enzyme production or activity
• echothiophate-treated transgenic mice show slight salivation in contrast to wild-type mice which show profuse salivation
• no significant decrease in body temperature is exhibited by transgenics treated with echothiophate, whereas wild-type mice show a dramatic drop in body temperature
• when treated with the a 0.1 mg/kg dose of echothiophate (the LD50 dose for wild-type mice), no F5 generation transgenic mice die compared to 3/8 wild-type animals, indicating that transgene expression confers protection from organophosphate toxicity

endocrine/exocrine glands
• echothiophate-treated transgenic mice show slight salivation in contrast to wild-type mice which show profuse salivation

digestive/alimentary system
• echothiophate-treated transgenic mice show slight salivation in contrast to wild-type mice which show profuse salivation
