• despite male infertility, mice exhibit normal sperm counts, motility, and morphology and normal mating behavior
impaired fertilization ( J:66393 )
• male mice generate embryos that do not develop beyond the 4 cell stage with most arresting at the 2 cell stage due to chromosome scrambling unlike in wild-type mice
