• injection of LY354740, an mGlu2/3r agonist, 30 minutes prior to testing, induced anxiolytic-like effects in 5 week old male wild-type as shown by increased time spent in the open and number of open-arm entries in the elevated-plus maze (EPM) test; in contrast, male mutants showed no decrease in anxiety-related behavior with LY354740 treatment
