• no differences in the inhibition of neurite outgrowth of postnatal dorsal root ganglion or cerebellar granule neurons by myelin or by a Nogo-66 (Rtn4) substrate compared to heterozygous controls
• homozygotes did not show enhanced regeneration of corticospinal tract axons in comparison with wild-type controls after spinal dorsal hemisection, indicating that Rtn4r does not play a central role in mediating axonal growth inhibition
