• while embryonic death was directly identified, the gender ratio was skewed at birth with fewer females being born than males

neoplasm
• 10% of all 10 to 14 month old mice exhibited spontaneous tumors
• the tumors were predominantly of epithelial origin, most frequently carcinomas of the lung
• while the tumors were TRP53-positive, they were attributed to functional destabilization of the TRP53
• metastases of lymphoma to the liver was observed, however metastases was not observed in mice with tumors of epithelial origin
• spontaneous adenocarcinoma type B, composed of solid undifferentiated structures with a minor tubular component
• spontaneous hepatocellular carcinoma surrounded by severe liver cell dysplasia
• spontaneous with metastases to the liver
• spontaneous bronchioalveolar carcinomas of solid type, composed of dense tumor masses infiltrating the alveolar spaces with undefined cellular borders and relatively mild nuclear pleomorphism
