phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
behavior/neurological
• amphetamine-treated mice fail to produce ultrasonic vocalizations unlike similarly treated wild-type mice
• the total number of frequency-modulated ultrasonic vocalizations is reduced 80% compared to in wild-type mice
• total ultrasonic vocalizations and frequency-modulated decrease in a time-dependent manner unlike in wild-type mice
• however, flat ultrasonic vocalizations are normal as are the duration and bandwidths of ultrasonic vocalizations
• amphetamine-treated mice fail to produce ultrasonic vocalizations unlike similarly treated wild-type mice
• mice exhibit decreased peak frequency of ultrasonic vocalization compared with wild-type mice
