mortality/aging
• fewer than expected homozygotes are found at weaning

hematopoietic system
• about a 50% increase in spleen size
• increase in the number of megakaryocytes, megakaryoblasts, and myelocytes mostly located in clusters towards the spleen periphery
• expansion of cells in the myeloid lineage in the bone marrow
• increase in the proportion of ITGAM and LY6G expressing cells and decrease in the proportion of B220+ cells
• expanded red pulp resulting in darker spleen color
• CD5 and CD69 expression (markers of T cell activation) are increased in DP thymocytes although less than in Cbl null mice

immune system
• about a 50% increase in spleen size
• increase in the number of megakaryocytes, megakaryoblasts, and myelocytes mostly located in clusters towards the spleen periphery
• expansion of cells in the myeloid lineage in the bone marrow
• expanded red pulp resulting in darker spleen color
• CD5 and CD69 expression (markers of T cell activation) are increased in DP thymocytes although less than in Cbl null mice

reproductive system
• 40% of females have dilated oviducts without hyperplasia possibly as a result of obstruction and mucous retention
• 40% of females have a dilated uterus without hyperplasia possibly as a result of obstruction and mucous retention

growth/size/body
• about a 50% increase in spleen size
• increase in the number of megakaryocytes, megakaryoblasts, and myelocytes mostly located in clusters towards the spleen periphery
