Mutation
origin
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6J
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Not Applicable)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsCRISPR genome editing of exon 10 replaced a lysine with glutamic acid (nucleotide sequence at aa 302: AAA to GAA) to express the Ptprca (CD45.1) rather than the Ptprcb (CD45.2) isoform normally expressed by C57BL/6J mice. Four silent mutations were introduced in order to prevent cutting of the mutated allele by the Cas9 protein. (J:358634)
