Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe targeting vector was designed to insert a beta-galactosidase gene (lacZ) immediately downstream of the ATG start codon (exon 3) of the dual specificity phosphatase 26 (Dusp26) gene via homologous recombination in ES cells. The construct also contained a loxP-flanked neomycin cassette following the LacZ sequence. The insertion results in the ablation of endogenous Dusp26 expression. (J:353273)
