Mutation details: Using the CRISPR/Cas9 technique, a P2A-Cre recombinase sequence was inserted immediately before the stop codon for the full-length tropomyosin related kinase receptor B (TrkB.FL) isoform at the neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor, type 2 (Ntrk2) locus on chromosome 13. A silent mutation was also introduced into the PAM site of the sgRNA located within the 3' homology arm in the donor plasmid.
