Mutation details: The Cre expression cassette including the stop codon was inserted into the BAC clone RP23-182D4 containing the endogenous murine Ccr2 locus downstream of the Ccr2 promoter. The endogenous Ccr2 gene was disrupted resulting in frameshift. Four potential founder mice were identified. The lineage of one of these founders (#584) was established.
