Mutation details: Using CRISPR/Cas9 system, the T2A-cre/ERT2 cassette was inserted in-frame into the endogenous Cdkn1c (p57) coding sequence immediately 5 to the only TGA codon at this locus in ES cells. Single colony ES cell clones that had undergone homologous recombination were then expanded and injected into C57BL/6 mouse blastocysts to generate chimeric mice.
