Mutation details: The targeting vector contains an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) fused to full length human relaxin/insulin-like family peptide receptor 1 (RXFP1) cDNA, followed by a loxP-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette, inserted into exon 17 of the endogenous Rxfp1 gene. The vector also includes duplication of endogenous exon 16 and parts of endogenous exons 15 and 17.
