Mutation details: The transgene consists of the 1,723-bp human CD11b (ITGAM) promoter, a 2,578-bp fragment encoding a rabbit -globin intron and the CreERT2 sequence, a 603-bp transcript-stabilizing WPRE sequence and a 170-bp spanning SV-40 poly(A) sequence. Three founder lines were generated. information and line numbers were not available. The founder line with the most robust and microglia-specific recombination was chosen for further breeding (F9 line).
