• Mutation details: The transgene contains the following elements: a neuron-specific enhancers-containing region 9-13 kb upstream of the Pomc gene transcription start site with enhancer Rr279 (nPE1) deleted (585 bp) but Rr280 (nPE2) still present, the Herpes simplex virus TK gene minimal promoter and the human growth hormone gene.
