Mutation details: CRISPR/cas9 mediated recombination using a single-stranded donor RNA with 2 GCC mutations was used to insert a W197A mutation. The second set of targeted nucleotides did not insert in this allele. This allele was created in embryos from mice homozygous for Ifih1tm1Aki. This mutation reduces RNA editing activity.
