Mutation details: Sequence from intron 1 of Hoxa11, containing distal or digit enhancer Rr139, was cloned upstream of the hemoglobin beta minimal promoter to drive expression of the beta-galactosidase reporter gene (LacZdeltaCpG NLS). The H19 insulator Rr27 was placed upstream of Rr139 to block any putative interaction with enhancers around the insertion site.
